Fun To Be Forgotten (Sometimes)
Our Generation 18" Non-Poseable Doll - Daisy

Once there was doll named Daisy Sue. Her hair was made of springy curls and her eyes were as blue as the sea. One day Daisy Sue’s owner, Lucy, took her to the doctor’s office and forgot her there. Daisy Sue didn’t know what to do, so she started to explore the office. She found a large bowl of candy at the front desk. “Yum, I think I’ll try a piece.” Before she knew it, the bowl was empty and Daisy Sue had a terrible stomach ache. “Ouch, my tummy hurts! I really need some medicine!” She searched and searched and found a spoon full of medicine to take. “Yuck, it tastes terrible, but at least my tummy doesn’t hurt anymore.”
The next morning Lucy came back to pick Daisy Sue up. “I missed you so, so much”, said little Lucy. “I promise never to forget you again.” Daisy Sue was happy to see Lucy and to be finally going home. On the way home Daisy Sue reached into her pocket and found a piece of candy she didn’t eat. “Well, maybe just one more won’t hurt. I guess being left at the doctor’s office wasn’t so bad after all.”

Dolly’s Surprise

It was a bright sunny day with a few puffs of white and Dolly was enjoying the good weather playing with her brand new Our Generation doll named Rachelle.
“I will never leave her at home,” Dolly exclaimed as she swooshed Rachelle through the air like a super hero.  “Never!”
As Dolly was playing she heard the voice of her best friend Amber, “Hey Dolly! Is that the new OG girl?!?”
“It is!” Dolly said with a smile.
“Wow!” Amber squealed as she gazed at Rachelle, “my Mom and I have been to every Target this side of Alabama and every single one of them was sold out.”
“Can I hold her,” Amber asked guiding her hands out.
“No!” Dolly said sternly and Amber looked as if she was about to cry.
Pulling her hands back in, Amber quietly said, “Okay, I’m sorry,” as she turned to leave.
Dolly perked up, “No Amber, let me finish,” she commanded as she pulled a package out of the bag on her porch.  “You’re birthday is coming up and…”
Before Dolly could finish, Amber’s sadness turned to excitement as she leaped off her feet and placed her hands on the package.
“How…Where…When…, “ Amber searched for the words to say. “May I,” she requested as if already knowing the answer.
Hesitating, Dolly looked up and then almost ripped open the package herself, “Yes!”
The two of them shrieked with joy as Amber stared through the plastic window separating her from a brand new OG girl. Hugging the box tightly Amber said, “I will call her Savannah,” she hesitated, “after my great aunt.”
Before Amber carefully opened the box she paused and started, “we are both so blessed…”
 “…we certainly are,” Dolly finished.
Dolly and Amber enjoyed the rest of the day playing and pretending as the sun settled to the west.
